Neato is SMART.
When we say, that Neato is smart, we mean very smart. The unique feature for robotvacuumcleaners is that the Neato uses a built-in laser, that can scan your house before it starts to clean. Thanks to the scan of the laser, the Neato robot knows how your rooms look like, the location of your furniture and it recognises door openings. It makes a virtual map of your house. The Neato vacuums in straight lines, because it knows how the room looks like. The Robot does one room completely before it procedes to another one. When the Robot is finished it will automatical return to its docking station (charging station) to recharge the battery for the next vacuumcleaning cycle.

Because the robot knows how the living space looks like, it will not do any unnecessary movements: Neato will vacuum in a strategic way instead of just driving around like most robotvacuumcleaners do. The Neato vacuumclean robot can do bigger spaces than most robot vacuumcleaners do, because of its effective technology.

Self-docking to re-charge: after completing its cleaning, it returns automatically to its base to re-charge itself. By utilizing the charging base, the robot is charged and ready to go when it's needed the most.
